Boston’s Top Cop Warns Against “Police State”

Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis warned against creating a “police state” in the aftermath of the marathon bombings during testimony in front of a congressional hearing today.

“We do not, and cannot, live in a protective enclosure because of the actions of extremists who seek to disrupt our way of life,” Davis told lawmakers, adding “I do not endorse actions that move Boston and our nation into a police state mentality, with surveillance cameras attached to every light pole in the city.”

The hearing is designed to examine circumstances leading up to the bombings and find ways of decreasing the likelihood of similar attacks in future.

Despite Davis’ call for the public’s privacy to be protected, he did call for more surveillance cameras as well as more undercover officers to increase security around big events.

They're heading America for full-blown tyranny

It's already a hair's breadth away. It could arrive any time full force. It's been wrapped in the American flag all along. Most people don't know how seriously their rights are compromised. Thousands of political prisoners in America's gulag hell testify about police state harshness. Much worse ahead looms.

On March 7, 2011, Obama's Executive Order 13567 authorized indefinite detentions and military commission trials. Doing so violated America's Fifth Amendment. It states:

"No person….shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law…."

Bush administration officials, of course, originally authorized military commissions. They're lawless by any standard. They permit torture. They deny international law protections.

They let presidents convene them against "unprivileged enemy belligerents" or anyone designated a threat to national security. Any reason can be claimed or none at all.

They deny speedy trials or any at all. They legitimize torture extracted evidence. They also permit hearsay and secret evidence unavailable to counsel.

They deny due process and judicial fairness. They destroy human dignity. They mock rule of law principles. They sanction kangaroo court justice.

At the time, Obama contemptuously claimed that indefinite detentions and military commissions "broaden our ability to bring terrorists to justice, provide oversight for our actions, and ensure the humane treatment of detainees." Read more >>

Prepare for a global depression, the likes of which have never been seen

Humanity is on the verge of entering into the most tumultuous period in our history. The prospects of a global depression, the likes of which have never been seen before; a truly global war, on a scale never before imagined; and societal collapse, for which nations of the world are building totalitarian police states to control populations; are increasing by the day. The major global trend forecasters are sounding the alarms on economic depression, war, a return to fascism and a total reorganization of society. Through crisis, we are seeing the reorganization of the global political economy, and the transformation of capitalism into a totalitarian capitalist world government. Capitalism has never stayed the same through its history; it has always changed and will continue to do so. Its changes are explained and analyzed through political-economic theory, both mainstream theory and critical. The changes are undertaken over years, decades and centuries. The next phase of capitalism is one in which the world moves to a state-controlled economic system, much like China, of totalitarian capitalism.

The global political economy itself is being reorganized into a world government body, consisting of one center of global power where the socio-political-economic power of the world is centralized in one institution. This is not a conspiracy theory; it is a reality. Nor is this a subject confined to the realm of “internet conspiracy theorists,” but in fact, the concept of world government originates and evolves throughout the history of capitalism and the global political economy. DHS Summons Children to Serve as Citizen Police

Recent comments from a speech in New York by Janet Napolitano, secretary of the Department of Homeland Security:

For too long, we've treated the public as a liability to be protected rather than an asset in our nation's collective security. This approach, unfortunately, has allowed confusion, anxiety and fear to linger. You are the ones who know when something is not right in your communities. There's actually an important role we can play in educating even our very young about watching for, and knowing what to do, if you're in an airport and you see a package left with no one around.

This is fear mongering, plain and simple. When the government begins a vocal recruitment of its children as citizen police, you know fascism has arrived.
